MOWD Inc. ("MOWD," "we," "our," or "us") provides the MOWD mobile application ("App"), a theme park planning tool designed to help users organize trips, dining, and real-time experiences across major amusement and theme parks. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data in connection with our App and services.

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy complies with applicable data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area.

a. Account Information

When you register, we collect account details such as your name, email address, and preferences. Authentication is managed securely through industry-standard identity providers, including Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In.

In the case of Apple, biometric authentication (such as Face ID or Touch ID) may be used on your device; however, we do not access, store, or process any biometric data. We do not store your password in plaintext, and no authentication credentials are shared with third parties beyond what is required to provide secure access to the app.

b. Usage and Device Information

We collect limited technical information to help us ensure the app functions correctly and to understand how it’s being used. This may include:

  • Basic device details (e.g., operating system version, device type)
  • Anonymous app usage metrics (e.g., which screens are accessed, frequency of use)
  • Diagnostic data (e.g., crash reports, performance logs)

c. Location Data

If you opt in, we collect location data via GPS or Bluetooth for features like nearby wait times or park entry predictions.

d. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our app does not use traditional web cookies. However, limited temporary cookies may be set during secure authentication flows (e.g., when logging in via our identity provider). These cookies are used solely to manage session continuity and are not used for tracking or advertising. We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party trackers, or persistent client-side cookies. Any data collected is used strictly to support secure access, performance monitoring, and optional location-based features you have explicitly enabled.

e. Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, we may send:

  • Wait time alerts
  • Reopening estimates
  • Promotional content

You can disable notifications in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We do not sell personal data or use sensitive personal data for additional purposes.

We rely on the following legal bases for processing: Contractual necessity, Legitimate interests, Consent, and Legal obligations.
International data transfers are protected using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
